Gary Presson

Gary Presson is a retired, 21-year veteran of the military. He started his career with a 5 year assignment with the 2nd Ranger Bn. and then served the rest of his time in SF assignments. He began to specialize in Land Navigation and Mobility operations in 1996 and has taught hundreds of military personnel over the years. Gary has worked as an independent contractor since 2007 and continues to instruct both military and civilian organizations. He currently volunteers with the local Search and Rescue Team in Northwest Montana and teaches several classes every year in support of their operations.

Certifications and Major Accomplishments:

– Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) accredited Dirt Bike
Coach/Instructor

– Certified to instruct MSF’s Closed Range Exercise and Introduction to
Trail Riding courses

– ATV Safety Institute (ASI) accredited ATV Instructor

– Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Association (ROHV) accredited Instructor

– Certified over one hundred special operation forces through MSF, ] ASI, and ROHV in safe operations of motorcycle, ATV, and Side-by-side utilization

– CMC High Angle Rescue Technician- Developed the High Angle Technical Rescue program for a special DoD program
